Statement of Faith

  • enLOVE Ministries is a non-denominational Christian ministry centered on death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and grounded in the truth of God’s Word, and Holy Spirit empowered.

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith, conduct, and ministry.

    2 Timothy 3:16–17 · Hebrews 4:12

  • We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is co-eternal, co-equal, and one God.

    Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14

  • We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again, ascended to the Father, and is Lord and Savior.

We believe Jesus came to redeem humanity, destroy the works of the devil, restore people to God, heal the brokenhearted, and set captives free.

    John 1:1, 14 · Luke 1:35 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 · Luke 4:18–19 · 1 John 3:8

  • We believe every person has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Apart from Jesus Christ, humanity is separated from God.

Salvation is a free gift of God, received by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned by works. It is made possible through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

    Romans 3:23 · John 3:16–17 · Ephesians 2:8–9 · Acts 4:12

  • We believe water baptism is an outward expression of faith in Jesus Christ and a public declaration of new life in Him.

Water baptism does not save, but it is an act of obedience that identifies the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

    Matthew 28:19 · Romans 6:3–4 · Acts 2:38

  • We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a promised gift from God.

The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live as witnesses, walk in obedience, grow in spiritual maturity, and minister in the power of God.

    Acts 1:8 · Acts 2:1–4 · Luke 24:49

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is active today. He convicts, comforts, teaches, guides believers into truth, and empowers them to live transformed lives.

We believe the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit are for the building up of the Body of Christ and the glory of God.

    John 14:26 · John 16:13 · Galatians 5:22–23 · 1 Corinthians 12:8–10 · Eph 4:11-12.

  • We believe God calls His people to holiness and spiritual maturity.

Sanctification is the ongoing work of God’s grace in the life of a believer. Through the Holy Spirit, believers are transformed, renewed, and conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

    Romans 8:29 · Romans 12:2 · Galatians 5:22–25
